WHY WEAR JEWLERY

Why Wear Jewelry?

Jewelry is more than just an item to wear around your neck, your finger, or your wrist. It is a statement about what kind of person you want to be for the day. It is a sentiment of endearment, an object for a conversation starter, it is an accent to your wedding, and a hope for a dream, amongst many other things. When looking for a piece of jewelry, we must look for that special piece that says something, that says a statement that will stick with our audience.
Personally, I will wear a modern flat top ring with a small diamond to make a statement of seriousness and sincerity. To showcase my kindness, I will wear my gold bracelet with coins to show that money sometimes has no value since it sits on my wrist with punched holes and not in my pocket. For my relaxing days, and to express the “chill” part of my personality, I will wear plastic, glass, or plain stone beaded bracelets piled against each other on my wrist. Jewelry on a BudgetI have found some wonderful pieces at thrift and antique stores, estate sales, consignment shops, and garage sales including pearl necklaces, a 14k gold rope necklace, and Victorian silver earrings with amethyst...Surprisingly, I found a Judith Ripka ring during a village-wide garage sale!
(I am sure those that have loved their jewelry and are willing to part with it, are happy to see someone else enjoy it as much as they did if not more.)
